Community Partners
New York Common Pantry 🥖
Serve hot meals and help with pantry distribution at New York Common Pantry, a top player in alleviating hunger in New York City. Get this: In 2018, NYCP served nearly 2 million meals out of just their Manhattan location (on 109th Street).
How to redeem your discount: When you sign up to volunteer, NYCP will send you a confirmation email — forward that email to us at nightandday@robinhood.org and you’re done!
Housing Works 🏠
Mari Kondo your apartment, then drop off gently used goods at any of Housing Works’ thrift shops around the city. When Housing Works sells an item of clothing for $75, they can provide three weeks’ worth of hot meals for a homeless HIV+ mother and her child.

How to redeem your discount: Make sure to get a receipt from Housing Works when you drop off your stuff. Snap a pic of the receipt and send it to us at nightandday@robinhood.org.
Goddard Riverside Community Center 👫
Goddard Riverside, a New York institution dating back to 1888 (!!!), provides after-school programs, summer camps, mental health services, and homelessness outreach to low-income New Yorkers. Lend Goddard a hand by delivering meals to homebound older adults on the Upper West Side.

Events
Pizza & Program Officers on February 6 🍕
On February 6, swing by the Robin Hood offices to eat pizza with Robin Hood program officers Adena, Mac, and Sham (i.e. poverty-fighting experts). They’ll dive into a pressing question for New York City: what happens when a baby is born in a NYC homeless shelter?

About Robin Hood
Robin Hood fights poverty in New York City. Over the past 30 years, we’ve invested nearly three billion dollars in the most impactful programs across the city — schools, food pantries, homeless shelters, job training centers, health facilities, legal clinics, and more — to provide low-income New Yorkers with the tools they need to build better lives.
